When to use

When a band already has its own heading and you need 4–6 supporting points laid out two or three across, each worth a sentence or two. Because it ships no padding, container or background, it slots inside an existing section rather than becoming one — the opposite of FeatureColumns, which owns its whole band. Reach for UtilityTiles when each point wants an illustrative graphic and card chrome.

columns 3 · accent jade · mono

A grid, not a ledger: no leading check, no icon, no hairline dividers, and the items are plain <div>s rather than a <ul>. The only optional glyph is a decorative 3px × 32px jade bar. The component paints no padding, container or background, so the framing here belongs to the band around it. Body copy uses text-ink-muted (#6B6B66) on the real site — lighter than the --m-fg-muted its sibling patterns use, and stood in for here by the muted role.
