When to use

When the conversion moment has two genuinely different paths and forcing one primary would lose half the readers — "start it yourself" against "walk me through it". Use DarkCtaBand when there is one obvious action with an optional secondary, and SectionCTA for a single inline nudge mid-page.

The conversion moment splits into two complete option cards, not a copy column beside an action panel: each carries its own 40px duotone icon, mono eyebrow, ultralight display title, body and button. There is no eyebrow or lede above the headline, and no reassurance chip row — the reassurance lives in each card's body sentence. That chip row belongs to DarkCtaBand.

Never more or fewer than two: the light-filled / ghost-dark button pairing only makes sense as a pair. Cards are rounder than the standard card (18px), padded 32px, and filled with a translucent white wash rather than --m-card — drop them onto a paper band and they vanish. The hover hairline is the literal on-ink mint rgba(91, 184, 176, 0.45), because the light-mode accent border is invisible on the glow. On the live page the headline also takes white-space: nowrap from 1024px, so its own <br> is the only break allowed; that rule is left off here so the docs column can still wrap.
